Eli "Lounger" Boschetto
Eli Boschetto has been a Mountaineers Books guidebook author since 2014, with four titles currently available, and a new guide coming in 2026. Prior to guidebook writing, Eli was a trail correspondent for Backpacker, and served as the editor of Washington Trails for five years.
As an Oregon trails and PCT expert, Eli has served on the advisory council of the Oregon Trails Coalition and Granite Gear Grounds Keepers, has led hikes for Friends of the Gorge, and was instrumental in planning Adidas’ United by Summits PCT Adventure. He is currently a member of the Recreate Responsibly Coalition. When not hiking, Eli is the Director of PortLUG, Portland’s adult LEGO-building community.
